meet Lisa BoudreauX

With 26 years of restaurant and hospitality experience, Lisa Boudreaux, is recognized as one of Baton Rouge’s leading catering and entertaining experts. After attending Louisiana State University for Interior Design, she began her own design business creating well-appointed spaces which ultimately led her to creating fabulous tablescapes for events as well. Lisa mastered her culinary skills as a private and corporate caterer working for some of the best restaurants and country clubs in the area. She excelled in the gourmet food industry as a private chef locally and abroad. Her work has been featured in several magazines, most notably, landing the cover of Southern Celebrations Special Food Edition, In Register and Mingle Magazine.

As a native of Louisiana, she is passionate about Louisiana culture and continues to help bring awareness to Louisiana culinary arts locally and abroad. She is dedicated to the restaurant and hospitality industry and gives back to the community through many charitable organizations annually and serves on several local boards. She is currently a Director for the Louisiana Restaurant Association Baton Rouge Chapter, where she served as the as the 2019 and 2020 President. Lisa also served on the Executive Board of the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society for 13 years and was President in 2018. Lisa is also on the Board of Directors for the Zachary Chamber of Commerce in her home town. Within the first year of opening Gilded Artichoke Catering Co., Lisa earned the prestigious award of Member of the Year from the Louisiana Restaurant Association’s Baton Rouge Chapter and has been nominated as “Best Caterer” in Best of 225 each year. In 2021, she was named Chef of the Month by the Louisiana Seafood Board and was featured in their monthly cooking show. Lisa also speaks to area schools with Pro-Start programs to promote culinary education and job opportunities. Over her career, Lisa has shared her insight on hosting the perfect party as a contributing writer for several local publications. Lisa has also appeared as a guest on area news outlets and radio shoes with live cooking demonstrations sharing recipes with the community.

She is proud to be a woman-owned business. Her employee base is mostly women as well. Her company was founded on a passion for excellence driven by experienced culinary talent, signature style, and beautifully crafted cuisine. It is her mission to provide each client with a positive event experience while building lasting relationships. She has a reputation for going over and beyond to uphold her company values and client preferences. From weddings and social gatherings to charity and corporate events, her presentation is one of a kind. Her attention to detail is fine-tuned and her client experience is stellar.
