meet Lisa BoudreauX

With nearly 30 years of restaurant and hospitality experience, Lisa Boudreaux is recognized as one of Baton Rouge’s leading catering and entertaining experts. After attending LSU for Interior Design, she began her own design business creating well-appointed spaces which ultimately led her to creating fabulous tablescapes for events as well. Lisa mastered her culinary skills as a private and corporate caterer working for some of the best restaurants and country clubs in Louisiana. In 2016, she started her own company, Gilded Artichoke Catering Co., where she is the chef owner. Lisa is proud to be a woman owned and operated business employing mostly women. Her work has been featured in several magazines, most notably, landing the cover of Southern Celebrations Special Food Edition, In Register, 225, and Mingle Magazine.

As a native of Louisiana, she is passionate about Louisiana culture and continues to help bring awareness to Louisiana culinary arts locally and abroad. She is dedicated to the restaurant and hospitality industry and gives back to the community through many charitable organizations annually. Lisa has served on several boards and is the former President of the Louisiana Restaurant Association’s Baton Rouge Chapter. She is also a past President of the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society, a 501-c3 non-profit organization serving the Greater Baton Rouge area. For the last 4 years, Lisa has held a seat on the Board of Directors with the Zachary Chamber of Commerce.

Over her career, Lisa has shared her insight into the industry as a contributing writer for several publications. She has shared her experience of being a woman in the restaurant industry as a guest speaker at trade shows and conferences nationally. Lisa has also appeared as a guest on area news outlets and radio shows with live cooking demonstrations sharing recipes and cooking tips.

Lisa built her company with a passion for excellence driven by experienced culinary talent, signature style and beautifully crafted cuisine. Integrating trends while continuing to uphold traditions are at the heart of each event. Lisa’s presentation is one of a kind and her attention to detail is fine-tuned. From weddings and social gatherings to charity and corporate events, she hopes to share her craft while building lasting relationships for many years to come.
